Known issues:

Due to internal build issues there's no Maemo 5 build this week.
On Mac OS X, you need to have the _Cocoa_ build of Qt installed. It's not necessary to set any library path variables. Start QtLauncher on the command line, not in Finder.

Trunk ¶

This week's binary build from the trunk includes Symbian, Windows/Visual Studio 2008, Mac OS X and Linux/X11 (x86). The last commit is SVN revision 56628.

Known issues:

You need to have Qt 4.6 installed on your system and set your PATH/LD_LIBRARY_PATH accordingly, so that QtLauncher can find the Qt libraries.
On Mac OS X, you need to have the _Cocoa_ build of Qt installed. It's not necessary to set any library path variables. Start QtLauncher on the command line, not in Finder.
On Symbian qtwebkit.sis is self-signed. After installing Qt for Symbian you have to uninstall the qtwebkit.sis that was signed by Nokia in order to be able to installed the selfsigned packages. Otherwise you get a descriptive "Update Error".
Due to internal build issues there's no Maemo 5 build this week.
The build against Qt 4.5 is broken (Bug 36750)
QtWebKit pkgconfig file is broken (Bug 36826)

2.0 Release Branch ¶

This week's binary build from the 2.0 release branch includes Symbian, Windows/Visual Studio 2008 and Linux/X11 (x86). The last commit is b9a9ed485914673c4801be819f8906e933666435 .

Known issues:

You need to have Qt 4.6 installed on your system and set your PATH/LD_LIBRARY_PATH accordingly, so that QtLauncher can find the Qt libraries.

Changes in this build since last week:

The Linux and Maemo 5 builds are linked using the ELF origin feature, removing the need for the launcher.sh script. You can simply run QtLauncher directly.
The Windows build is now a release build, depending on the vc 2008 _release_ run-time instead of the debug one. The vcredist trick mentioned in last week's known issues should work.
New is a Maemo 5 build, which at this point is just a tarball of the binaries. You need to log into your N900 via ssh and untar + run it from the terminal. I'd like to create debian packages in the future.

On Windows you may need Visual Studio 2008 runtimes. These can be obtained by installing the Visual Studio 2008 Express edition. Alternative I _think_ it's sufficient to install the 2008 runtimes via vcredist_x86.exe once. You can download the runtimes from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9B2DA534-3E03-4391-8A4D-074B9F2BC1BF&displaylang=en
