WebKitGTK+ is developed within the official WebKit SVN, so the codebase is unrelated to the classic [http://gtk-webcore.sourceforge.net/ GTK+ WebCore], but WebKitGTK+ has superseded Gtk+ WebCore. The [http://build.webkit.org/ WebKit Buildbot] provides continuous build and layout tests.
